visit to wynad (my moms native place)

the best part of the holidays is the visit to wynad, kerala.. its my mothers native place.the hills,the lush greenery,,the coffee and tea plantations all form a part of the scenic landscape.its a great place to escape from the busy city buzz...this time there was a change as my moms brother who was staying at the ancestral home moved to a flat .so it was not fully the same as it used to be .the stay at the flat was not at all the same... we were kept awake by the mosquitoes that kept on attacking us a rare thing if we were staying at the ancestral home .there was vehicular movement all through the night just like ernakulam the place i am currently staying .so in short we could not get sound sleep.but the stay at the flat was not entirely bad as it gave us a very good view during the morning . the foggy morning accompanied by the chilly winds is something for which i wouldn't mind getting up early...here i am posting some of the pics taken from the terrace...
